for a while not when i put my foot down and lay on the gas there is a loud rattling. I accounted it to a friend of mine using air tools on the heat shield between the exhaust and drive shaft and taking the head off a bolt off leavign one bolt undone on the heatshield. Anyway it really bugged me when i drove it yesterday so i figure i would go under and see what the rattling was. It turned out to be a loose washer that had somehow got onto the top of the heatshield and refused to simply fall off. My question is....the only thing above that head shield is the drive shaft. is it at all possible that the washer i found could of come from a loose nut or bolt on my drive shaft? Is there anyway of checking if the shaft is loose without dropping the exhaust system and takign off the heat shield? I mean should it not be vibrating like crazy or wouldnt i be able to move it by hand of there was only one bolt holding it together>?
